One of the hardest decisions we have had to make when deciding to open a ladies jewellery brand is the brand name and the logo. Finding a name for the brand was difficult, it took a lot of thought process and a lot of brainstorming and then collating what we wanted to represent as a brand in order to find the perfect name which isn’t and wasn’t easy.
Over the space of a week we thought of fifty names and from that the top few were the final 4;
- PEARL O` RUCHI
- WHITE PERLS
After further discussion with my team we finally decided on Qatorsz, which was inspired by the French number 14. However this still didn’t sit right with me, something was missing. We tried to spell it in many different ways and finally agreed on Katorsz. The “K” in Katorsz looked much better than our other designs during the logo design stage.
The next step was to finalise the logo designs, now that we had a name. During the logo design phase we came up with a few ideas and after much thought we made that important decision and chose the final logo which you all know.
